WCRMC Response to the Coronavirus COVID-19

We are working diligently to provide the public with the latest, information regarding the coronavirus. Please take note of the Department of Public Health guidelines on when to call 911 and when NOT to call.
Healthcare, in general, is getting overwhelmed. 911 does not have the manpower to answer questions regarding coronavirus nor do we at EMS. We need to be reserved for those with true emergencies that need us. Front line healthcare is at the highest risk. Keep that in mind. That includes EMS, FIRE/Rescue, first responders, ER staff and anyone involved in front line patient care! And our services all need to be utilized for those that are very sick or injured and need urgent care.
Please take precautions as necessary. Hand washing, hand sanitizer, stay in if you don’t have to be out and about. (Especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems)
People have also asked us for N95 masks. We MUST protect our employees first or there will be no one to care for you when we are needed. Healthcare workers are in it for the long haul. Keep us ALL in your prayers.
