Dr. Snoddy was raised in Atlanta, GA, where he attended The Westminster Schools. He received his undergraduate education from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He earned his Medical Degree from Medical College of Georgia, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at Vanderbilt University. While there, he was elected Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Snoddy went on to complete a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Harvard where he trained at Brigham & Women’s, Massachusetts General, and Boston Children’s Hospitals. While in his fellowship, Dr. Snoddy honed his treatment of complex disorders related to acute trauma, nerve injury, arthritis, joint replacement, athletic injury, arthroscopic surgery, and congenital malformations.
