This week marks the 1st week of the new Intermediate Care Unit being open and ready to give critical care in Washington County. This unit operates as an eICU Center partnering with Emory Healthcare System. eICU is an electronic ICU that remotely and intensively monitor patients 24/7. Washington County Regional Medical Center’s physicians and nurses will provide care in the unit along with highly trained critical care doctors and nurses from Emory. Seems WCRMC continues to grow in the mist of the halt COVI-19.
